Literature reviews and searches
Literature searches and reviews are fundamental to any research process. In some cases, a review of the literature is all that is needed to assist an organization set a direction or decide on an appropriate course of action. I work with a research assistant at the University of British Columbia who assists me by tracking down articles and publication that are not available to me in Whitehorse or when I am on location internationally. Examples of literature searches and reviews I have conducted include:

    • Report and action plan on FAS/FAE (for the Government of Yukon)
    • Transition from school to work for students with special educational needs
    • Training for employment for persons with cognitive disabilities
    • Best practices in Autism Spectrum Disorder
    • Changes in world-wide post-secondary education (for the Government of Canada)
